On the 30th of September 2009, our team was ready for the adventure. After 10 hours of flying, we finally arrived slightly exhausted in Kathmandu. There we had a bit of a culture shock. A total chaos, but it works! After 2 days Kathmandu and some paperwork we continued our journey to Lukla. After a 5 hours hike we reached Namche Bazar 3440m over sea- the Zermatt of the Himalayas. After a resting day with yaksteak and milktea we set out direction base camp. Therefore, we calculate 4 to 5 days stages.
We are excited to see the Jasemba finally, only after that we can say exactly what we will be approaching.
